Command A
Command A is a 111-billion-parameter text model for multilingual business workflows. It supports 23 languages and a larger input context than Command A+, with a smaller maximum response.
Capabilities and access
The model supports retrieval and tool workflows through Cohere's Chat API. Cohere describes deployment on two A100 or H100 GPUs. Its default answers can be conversational, so a system instruction can specify concise wording and a required format.Command A documentation

When this model fits
Practical guidance. Command A is worth comparing when a request depends on a long policy, transcript or set of source passages and the answer is relatively short. Keep the question and required evidence explicit. For extraction, define how the model must report a missing field. A larger input limit will not resolve contradictions between different versions of a document.
