Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra
Image Model 4 Ultra is the higher-detail release announced with Image Model 4 in April 2025. Adobe presents it as a choice for complex images. The API exposes a separate model value, so Ultra is not simply a larger export of a standard-model image.
Control the scene before judging the result

Compare detail at the final display size
Practical guidance. For a group portrait or product scene, inspect hands, faces, labels and repeated objects at the size you intend to publish. A more detailed image can still contain incorrect details. Compare the result with Image 4 using the same composition and reference material before deciding whether Ultra improves that particular task.
