Firefly Image Model 2
Image Model 2 was announced on 10 October 2023. Its release added reference-based Generative Match, photography controls and prompt guidance. Adobe also described improvements to human rendering and support for prompts in more than 100 languages.

Style matching was a central part of the release
Generative Match used a supplied image to guide visual style. Photo settings added controls such as depth of field and motion blur. Keep historical model information with saved work
Practical guidance. If an old project names Image 2, retain its source images, prompt and exported result. Moving that prompt to a current model is a new generation, so the composition and fine detail can change. Use the older output as a reference when visual continuity matters.
