A company built around code execution feedback
Poolside’s founders chose software development as a way to train models through observable outcomes. Their approach uses feedback from running code, including compilation and behavior checks. The company announced a $500 million funding round in October 2024.
Enterprise deployment and acquisitions
Poolside announced its AWS commercial partnership in December 2024. In November 2025, it acquired London-based Fern Labs, the team behind the Bridge agent-orchestration system. The acquisition added engineers who work directly with enterprise customers.
Available weights and deployment routes
The profile covers four released Laguna models and two documented base checkpoints. Quantized packages and speculative-decoding companions remain with the parent model. Poolside’s current supported deployment list includes S 2.1, XS 2.1 and M.1.
Public hosting and older releases
Poolside’s public Platform and Chat pages announced a 31 October 2026 shutdown. Downloadable weights remain available. Older Malibu releases appear in the release history, but are absent from the current supported-model list; this profile does not assert current access to them.
