Ray3.14
Ray3.14 is an earlier Ray release for Luma’s creative product. Its announcement emphasizes native 1080p video, stronger style consistency and a longer Modify workflow. It remains distinct from the current Ray3.2 API.
Check the controls your shot requires
Ray3.14’s FAQ excludes character-reference controls and Reframe. HDR and EXR are supported for text-to-video and image-to-video generation, but not for Modify. Native audio is not generated with the clip; audio can be added afterward through a separate product feature.Ray3.14 product FAQ
The FAQ permits five- or ten-second text-to-video clips and five-second image-to-video clips. It also describes extension to 30 seconds. These are different operations; the extension limit is not the initial clip length.Ray3.14 product FAQ
Choose it for the supported workflow
Practical guidance. For an existing illustrated clip, Modify can be useful when the goal is a style change. If the task requires an exact character reference or an HDR edited master, select a workflow that explicitly supports those controls. Do not infer support from the Ray family name alone.
