Claude Opus 4.6 expanded the Opus context window and introduced adaptive reasoning in this release line. It remains an active earlier API model.
Interactive and batch output limits differ
The ordinary output ceiling is 128,000 tokens. Message Batches can request up to 300,000 with the output-300k-2026-03-24 beta header.
