Grok-2
This repository publishes the post-trained Grok-2 model from 2024. It is distinct from a currently served Grok API version.
What the release provides
The weight files occupy about 500 GB. The published SGLang example uses eight GPUs with more than 40 GB memory each. The release uses the Grok 2 Community License and requires its supplied chat template.Grok-2 official weight release
How to use it well
Practical guidance. Read the community license before choosing a distribution or hosting plan. Budget storage, download time and runtime memory separately. Keep the supplied tokenizer and prompt template with the weights; changing either can alter the behavior of the same checkpoint.
