Rerank 2 Lite is the smaller member of the second-generation reranking pair. It supports general and multilingual relevance scoring.

Practical guidance. For short support articles or product descriptions, a smaller pair limit may be sufficient. Review errors on the longest candidates separately. Splitting a long source can help fit the limit but may remove context needed to judge the passage.
