Hy4
Hy4 is Tencent’s current hosted general model. It adds image understanding to the text-focused Hy4 preview and strengthens long task execution.
Model design and access
The service supports reasoning, function calling, structured output and context caching. The API accepts chat messages. The downloadable Hy4-preview checkpoint is a different release; its weight access and architecture should not be assumed to describe Hy4.CloudBase current Hunyuan models
Practical use
Practical guidance. Evaluate a complete workflow with its real tools and images. Check whether the model keeps requirements from earlier turns when the task changes. A large context window cannot replace a clear record of which instructions remain active.
