Arabic Stable LM 2 Chat 1.6B is the instruction-tuned companion to the Arabic base. It uses public and synthetic instruction data and exposes a ChatML dialogue format.

The model card identifies Axolotl as its adaptation library and reports Arabic-specific evaluations. Official GGUF files are a package option for the same Chat model. Practical use
Practical guidance. The Chat checkpoint is useful for local Arabic assistant research. Use native-language review for factual accuracy, wording and instruction compliance.
