Video supplies experience beyond robot demonstrations
Runway’s approach uses video pretraining to learn about objects, movement and physical interactions before adapting the model to robot actions. The announcement describes evaluation across different robot forms and environments. It does not provide a general safety guarantee for deployment on arbitrary hardware.Introducing Praxis-1
Evaluate the policy on the actual robot
Practical guidance. A robotics team must assess the policy together with its sensors, action interface and operating limits. A demonstrated task on one machine does not establish suitability for a different machine or environment. Confirm access terms and hardware requirements with the provider before planning an integration.
