Mistral Small 2.0 is the September 2024 update to Small 1.0. It introduced a public 22B instruction checkpoint under the Mistral Research License.
A middle-sized text model
The launch placed the model between NeMo 12B and Large 2. It targeted tasks such as translation, summarization and sentiment analysis. The download needs its own license review
