Command A Translate is a dedicated translation model with 111 billion parameters and support for 23 languages. It separates translation work from the broader chat and reasoning roles of other Command models.

Cohere documents the model for translation through the Chat API and private deployment. Its downloadable checkpoint uses noncommercial terms.
