The April 2026 Lite update added native audio understanding to the Seed 2.0 family. It combines sound with images, video and text.

Practical guidance. Lite is useful for a task where the sound changes the meaning of a scene. Evaluate examples with silence, background noise and conflicting visual evidence. Do not assume a transcript alone captures the event.
