FLUX Outpainting
FLUX Outpainting places an input image on a specified canvas and generates the surrounding area. The caller controls target dimensions and the source image's horizontal and vertical offsets.
Tool behavior
The default placement centers the reference. Negative offsets are accepted. Auto-crop explicitly controls whether an image outside the canvas is clipped or rejected. A prompt-upsampling option can be disabled to reduce latency.FLUX Outpainting official documentation
Practical use
Practical guidance. Set the final canvas and source offset from the intended layout before generation. Inspect perspective and repeated structures along the join. Use the original image as the reference for every size variant so successive extensions do not compound errors.
