FLUX.1 Depth Dev is a 12B image model that uses a depth map to guide composition. Text instructions control appearance while the depth input supplies spatial structure.

Practical use
Practical guidance. Use Depth when volume and relative distance are central to the image. Review the depth estimate before judging the generator. Incorrect depth around transparent surfaces or fine objects can lead to misplaced geometry even when the output looks plausible.
