Claude Haiku 4.5 is an active earlier Haiku release. It uses manual reasoning budgets and a smaller context window than Haiku 5.5.
The snapshot date is not the release date
The API snapshot ends in 20251001, but the documented public release was 15 October 2025. The shorter claude-haiku-4-5 alias resolves to that snapshot.
