Cadence-Fast is a Gemma-3-270M-derived punctuation model. It is distilled from the larger Cadence model.
Punctuation prediction is different from rewriting
The package combines model punctuation with rule-based English capitalization and corrections. It offers sliding windows for long text. The tokenizer has limited Meetei-script support; the card suggests Bengali-script transliteration for Manipuri.Cadence-Fast official model card

Practical guidance. For transcripts, compare word order before and after processing. Separate punctuation quality from any capitalization or other rule-based changes in the surrounding package.
