Firefly Sound Effects Model
Adobe introduced Generate Sound Effects in July 2025. Text describes the desired sound, while an optional voice performance guides when it occurs and how its energy changes. It serves effects work separately from spoken narration and background music.
A voice performance can guide a timed effect
In Firefly Timeline, the user places the playhead, describes the sound and optionally records a timing guide. The video plays without sound during recording. Build a scene from separate sound elements
Practical guidance. Generate a door impact separately from room tone or footsteps. Place each accepted effect against the picture, then adjust its level and timing in the edit. Separate elements make it easier to replace one incorrect sound without regenerating the whole scene.
